1st Nevada Bear Hunt in 80 Years Announced

Bear-Hunting.Org is getting ready to celebrate the first Nevada bear hunt in over 80 years. Hunters in the state of Nevada on August 20th 2011 will be able to get a chance to draw a tag and bag a black bear. This is an excellent way for Nevada’s Department of Wildlife to help control the ever growing black bear population in their state; while at the same time allows hunters to experience a recreation big game hunt. There is a small collation attempting to prevent the bear hunt, but as of right now it’s expected to go as planned.
The season will start officially on August 20th 2011 and run until December 31st 2011. There will be a total of 45 tags assigned to hunters. However, only 20 black bears can actually be harvested; six females maximum. If the 20 bear limit is hit before December 31st 2011 than the season will be officially over. Don’t forget to check with Nevada’s Department of Wildlife to verify exactly what you need to legally hunt black bears in their state.
Some regulations set by Nevada’s Department of Wildlife specific to the bear hunt that you need to know; it will be unlawful to kill a sow (female black bear) that has cubs. It’s unlawful to kill a black bear cub (less than one year old or fewer than 50 pounds). Bear bait stations are strictly prohibited and may not be used at all. Make sure to check with the Nevada Department of Wildlife for any other rules or regulations you may need to follow.

  1. You will find limitations on the kind of products for use to kill bears while hunting them same as when Mountain Goat Hunting. Including compliance with Commission Code 06.02, 08.04, 08.06 & 07.02. You are able to look these codes on the website they are rifle and crossbow laws and regulations that are not within the primary scope want to know ,, additionally you can't use shotguns which are 20 gauge or bigger only using rifled slugs. The penalty for neglecting to comply is $100 to $1000 and does not range from the penalties for breaking any condition gun laws and regulations.

    You're needed to put on a quantity of safety orange in your body. This should be worn over the waist line and contain the colour range 595nm to 605nm (Hunter Orange) or fluorescent chartreuse inside the color selection of 55nm to 565nm (Hunter Safety Eco-friendly). You'll want as many as a minimum of 400 square inches from the pointed out colors along with a fluorescent blaze orange or fluorescent chartreuse mind outfit should be noticeably worn around the mind. They penalty ranges from $50 to $1000 for neglecting to comply which can lead to serious injuries or dying.

  2. I am NOT an experienced hunter in fact I've never went hunting at all but I am looking for someone that can that can get me a black bear hide everything attached except the meat. I wish I had the money and the experience to go hunting but I hope that I could possibly pay someone for their services

  4. Nice post. Alaska is a wonderful place and here you can enjoy various activities. This is one of the best place to see northern lights.
